Test Cases

Access test case repository and manage folders

Head to Repository → Test Cases to view all your test cases. In QAlity Plus you can organize them in folders and subfolders, and bulk add them to test cycles.

Execute a test case

You can open execution in a test cycle. You will be transferred to an execution page, where you can record your test results and create bugs.

You can also execute a test case by clicking on a three-dot menu and choosing Execute (QAlity):

Or by clicking the Execute button above your test steps (QAlity Plus).

Create a test cycle

Click Create test cycle in the QAlity menu, and type in the new cycle’s details.

It is also possible to create a new test cycle from the test case repository. To do that, select test cases that you want to add to the test cycle, and click Add to test cycle → Create new test cycle.

You will find your newly created test cycle in Test Cycles → Overview.

Add a test case to a test cycle

You can add a test case to a test cycle either from the Jira issue view:

Or directly from the test cycle page:

Test Cycles Overview → Your test cycle → Add Test Cases to Test Cycle.

You can add test cases from multiple projects to your test cycle.

View and manage reports

Go to Reports section and choose the report that you’re interested in: Test Execution Report or Traceability Report (QAlity Plus only). Use filters to generate your reports (QAlity Plus only).
