Data Displayed Incorrectly In The Export File
When opening a file exported from the QAlity Plus app containing Test Cases, there may be an issue with displaying the data correctly. It may look like the first row is squished in one column or the column names are mixed up. Here’s an example:
This is caused by the wrong separator selected.
What to do about it?
The solution depends on the program you use to open CSV format files.
LibreOffice Calc
When opening the file, a window should appear where you can select the appropriate separator.
Make sure a 'comma' is selected as in the image below:
Microsoft Excel
Open an empty Microsoft Excel program (Not within the exported file).
Go to the Data tab.
Choose From Text/CSV.
Find the export file from QAlity Plus, click on it, and choose import.
A pop-up window will appear → Make sure that Delimiter is set up as a ‘comma’.
Click on the Load button.
