Pricing for QAlity Plus

How is the price calculated?
You can use QAlity Plus - Test Management for Jira for free for 30 days to check if the app fits your organization’s workflow and structure. After the free trial, price will depend on the number of users on the instance where the app is installed. Pricing always applies to the entire instance, in line with Atlassian’s policy for all Jira Marketplace apps. Therefore, even if only testers will use the app, the pricing will still apply to all users on the instance, including developers, managers, and others.
As a vendor, we do not have the ability to manage your license, including reducing the price. The only way to temporarily reduce the price is to use a discount code. Scroll down to see if we are currently offering any promotion.
The price calculation will also vary depending on the payment method (monthly or annually) and the type of hosting (Cloud or Data Center).
Cloud
Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance and the edition of the app you're on.
Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Management (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.
Data Center
Data Center apps are sold as an annual subscription. Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.
For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Management (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps.
For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly.
Where can I check the price?
You can check the current price on the Atlassian Marketplace website by searching for QAlity Plus, going into its marketplace page and then clicking on the Pricing tab.

When checking the price for Cloud, enter the number of users on your Jira instance and select your billing frequency (monthly or annually).
For Data Centers, prices are always determined per year. The price depends on the particular tier of users on your instance.

When is the app free?
Regardless of the type of hosting (Cloud or Data Center) and payment type (monthly or annually), a 30-day free trial period applies after installation.
Once this period ends, the app will require payment, calculated according to the number of users on the Jira instance where it is installed.
The standard version of the QAlity Plus app comes at no cost for Jira Cloud instances with up to 10 users. Keep in mind that this applies to all users in your Jira instance - even those who don't use the app, such as non-testers.
What version should I choose, and can I change it later?
Depending on your needs, when installing the QAlity Plus app, you can choose between standard and advanced versions of the app.

You can start a free trial of either edition and switch editions at any time, during or after the trial.
The Jira admin can change it by going to Manage apps → Manage Subscription → Change plan → Select Standard or Advanced.
Do we currently offer any discounts?

How do I make a purchase?
If you pay for Jira monthly, payments will be charged automatically after the trial period. All you need to do is install the app from the Atlassian Marketplace.
If you pay for Jira Cloud annually or use Jira Data Center, you’ll need to request a quote from Atlassian to purchase the license. In this case, we recommend reaching out to the Atlassian team.
