Attachment Display Issue in Firefox
When working with Test Steps or Test Executions in QAlity or QAlity Plus using the Mozilla Firefox browser, you may notice that the attachment icon or thumbnail does not appear. Clicking on it does not display the attachment content either. This issue is related to a Firefox browser policy setting that prevents attachment content from being shown. Adjusting this setting in your Firefox preferences will resolve the problem.
What to do about it?
To solve this, you need to adjust your Enhanced Tracking Protection settings in Mozilla Firefox. Here is how to do it:
Open Firefox and go to the menu (☰) → Settings.
In the left-hand menu, select Privacy & Security.
Under Browser Privacy, find the section called Enhanced Tracking Protection.
Change the setting to Custom.
Make sure the Cookies option is not blocking attachments (leave it unchecked or adjust exceptions if needed).
Once these settings are applied, the attachment icons and thumbnails should now display correctly.
If the issue still exists, please contact us here. We will be happy to help.
