After instalation of With Time Assistant installed, each issue created in Jira will allow user to use every Jira issue includes the active timer feature to start logging time of , enabling users to log their work time.

It can be found on in each issue details as a an additional section:

To start timer you need to click on “Play” activate a timer, click the Start timer button. Timer will start counting time and “Stop and log” button will be displayed if you your time spent on this issue. Once you’ve finished your work and wanted , click the Stop and log button to stop the counting.

Whenever work will be finished and time needst to be logged you can click on the button. A When you click the Stop and log button, a log time modal of the active timer will be displayed with pre-filled issue data. At this stage You can modify or simply add necessary informatoin and click “Log time” , you can edit the informatoin. Once ready, click the Log time button. A new work log will be created under this issue.

If You won’t log time and click “Cancel” buton. Timer will be move to waiting state displaying counted time and “Log time” button to , instead of logging the time, you click the Cancel button, the modal will close and the timer will be moved to a waiting state, displaying your counted time and the Log time button. You can finish the process at any other time.

Unlogged timers will be also visibile in “Unlogged timers” section. On this list level the ‘Unlogged timers’ section, where you can also finish the process or decide to cancel your unlogged timers.
