Log time
You can log time through Time Assistant using two main methods:
Log time button on the main dashboard:
The Log time button is positioned at the top right corner of the app dashboard.
Clicking this button opens a ‘Log time modal’ pre-filled with user and date information, based on your Jira instance settings.
If any necessary information is missing, an info flag will prompt you to fill the required fields.
The modal also allows you to enter or update the original and remaining estimates for an issue.
You can either confirm the entered data by clicking the Log time button or cancel any changes with the Cancel button.
Log Time directly from a gadget:
Each issue within each gadget features a clock icon.
Clicking this icon opens a new ‘Log time modal’ with pre-filled details based on the issue, user, and date stamp.
In the modal, you can add a work log by filling in the ‘Worked’ section, using the default Jira units shown in the placeholder.
Any missing fields will trigger an info flag to alert you to provide the necessary information.
You can confirm the data by clicking the Log Time button or cancel the operation with the Cancel button.
