Data storage and security

Multiple Checklists for Jira app doesn’t store the user data. So, for example, your Jira issues data don’t leave your Jira instance. The app stores the information that is needed to configure it (details below).

Cloud

Residency

We store our configuration data in the USA on an Amazon RDS, region us-east. Data can be accessed only by a limited number of SolDevelo employees.

Data we store

  • Technical information that is required for the marketplace and licensing to work correctly, e.g. instance ID.

  • User-entered permissions (who can manage templates, we store User IDs, not email addresses)

Data we do not store

  • Checklists - functionality that allows you to create and check items. This data is stored in the Jira issue property.

  • Checklists progress - is stored as an issue custom field, it allows you to show progress on agile boards.

  • Checklists templates - templates that can be automated by Jira filter or issue type to be added to issues. Templates and their automation is stored as either Jira app property or project property.

  • Checklists statuses - allows you to set item status like in progress or done. They are stored as Jira app property.

  • Checklists settings - allows you to set which project will have checklists. They are stored as Jira app property and Jira project property.

Security

We use Amazon Web Services - a leading cloud computing provider - for our cloud infrastructure. This helps us guarantee high availability, scalability, and automation of our backup policy.

We participate in the Cloud Fortified and Bug Bounty programs which means that our security meets high standards and our apps are subject to regular penetration testing by independent security researchers.

Server

We do not store any information from the server. When you install the app all the information and configurations stay within your server.
