Data storage and security

Worklogs - Time Tracking and Reports app does not store the user data, so your time logs or Jira issues data do not leave your Jira instance. The app stores only the information that is needed to configure it (details below).

Cloud

Residency

We store our configuration data in the USA on an Amazon RDS, region us-east. Data can be accessed only by a limited number of SolDevelo employees.

Data

  • Technical information is required for the marketplace and licensing to work correctly, for example, instance ID.

  • Configuration from the Configuration page:

    • Select Working Days - this function allows displaying days off in a different color to distinguish them from working days.

    • Select Default Time Range - with this function, you can set a default time range that will be displayed when you open Worklogs.

    • Select Week Start Day - with this option, you can choose from which day of the week your Worklogs table should start.

    • Add Holidays - this feature allows displaying holidays in a different color to distinguish them from the working days.

  • Permissions from the Permissions page:

    • Who can access Worklogs - it allows you to set who will be able to use the app. The IDs of users and names of groups with permission are stored.

    • Who can see other's worklogs - it allows you to determine who will be able to see other people’s work logs. The IDs of users and names of groups with permission are stored.

Security

We use Amazon Web Services - a leading cloud computing provider - to host our infrastructure that runs the application. This helps us guarantee high availability, scalability, and also automation of our backup policy.

We participate in the Cloud Fortified and Bug Bounty programs. This means that our security meets the highest standards and our apps are subject to regular penetration testing by independent security researchers.

Server

We do not store any information from the server. When you install the app all the information and configurations stay within your server.
