Manage Checklists settings
Enable or disable Checklists
Go to Jira Settings → Apps → Checklists → Settings. Here you can enable or disable checklists in new projects by default or choose in which existing projects you want the checklists to be available.

Set Checklists item statuses
Go to Jira Settings → Apps → Checklists → Checklist item statuses. Here you can manage your preferred checklist item statuses - set their names, colors, and item states.

Manage Checklists permissions
Go to Manage Apps → Multiple Checklists for Jira → Checklists Permissions. Here you can set permissions to manage Checklists Global Templates.

Access the Multiple Checklists app
As soon as the Multiple Checklists for Jira app is installed, you will notice a new option in your Jira issue view → Apps. When you click it, a checklist with the default name ‘To do’ will appear.
Manage checklist items
You can add new checklist items as well as edit or delete the existing ones. Reorder the items however you want by dragging and dropping them. Change viewing options to show or hide checklist items.
You can also select the current status of each checklist item. The available statuses are based on your Checklist item statuses settings.
Another thing you can do is convert checklist items into subtasks.
Add multiple checklists to an issue
To add another checklists, click the plus icon and select Add a new checklist. It will show up right under your previous checklist.
Save and use checklist templates
You can save a checklist as a template, and reuse it. To do that, click three dots next to your checklist, and select Save checklist as a template.
You can now add your saved checklist template to other issues by clicking the plus icon and selecting Add checklists from templates. It is also possible for the checklists templates to be added to your issues automatically.
