Marking test cycle as closed [PLUS]
This feature is available in QAlity Plus - Test Management for Jira exclusively.
When a test cycle is completed you can mark it as closed. It will still be displayed in reports, however, it will no longer be possible to add new test cases. This will allow you to keep it simple and clean while creating new test cycles.
To close a test cycle:
Go to the ‘Test Cycle Overview’ page.
Click the actions menu.
Select close.
Alternatively, you can click the three-dot menu on the right and click the Close button directly on the ‘Test cycle’ page.
By analogy, it’s also possible to reopen a closed test cycle on the ‘Test Cycles Overview’ page or directly on the ‘Test Cycle’ page if you ever need to.
