Test Cycles Overview


View existing test cycles and their status

Your Test Cycles can be found under Test Cycles → Overview.

After clicking on the name of the test cycle, you will be taken to the page where you can see test cases added to the test cycle. You can see all data related to the test cycle, such as the status and number of test cases. You can directly execute the test case or remove it from this page.

On the Overview tab you will find basic information about test cycles such as the project in which the test cycle was created, the version it is assigned to, the status of the test executions, the creation date, and the due date.


Restricted Test Cases

 

If a test case is restricted in Jira, it won’t be fully displayed in the test cycle.

Also, instead of the test case’s name, you will see a message that says "You don’t have permission to view this test case" as in the screenshot below:

If you want access to a test case that displays like this, contact your Jira Administrator.
