General Information
To upgrade from QAlity to QAlity Plus you need to complete 2 steps. The first one is changing the icon of the QAlity Test issue type and the second step is adjusting data in the database.

Data Migration
On Jira Server and Data Center, the plugin data is stored on the client instance. This means that a quick manual migration will be required if you would like to use QAlity data on QAlity Plus. It needs to be done by the administrator since we will work directly on the database.
Backup your database before
For detailed instructions please select which database you have on your instance and follow the steps.
PostgreSQL, Oracle
It’s recommended to use QAlity and QAlity Plus separately and never at the same time.
Update QAlity to the newest version before migration. Make sure it’s working correctly.
Uninstall QAlity and install QAlity Plus.
Make sure QAlity Plus is working correctly.
Uninstall QAlity Plus.
Connect to your database.
If you installed QAlity Plus before migration and added some data then it’s required to delete the records in them so we have empty tables (they will not come back after the migration).
Tables that need their data cleared:TRUNCATE TABLE "AO_A89232_TEST_CASE_IN_CYCLE" CASCADE; TRUNCATE TABLE "AO_A89232_TEST_CASE_VERSION" CASCADE; TRUNCATE TABLE "AO_A89232_TEST_CYCLE" CASCADE; TRUNCATE TABLE "AO_A89232_TEST_EXECUTION" CASCADE; TRUNCATE TABLE "AO_A89232_TEST_EXECUTION_STEP" CASCADE; TRUNCATE TABLE "AO_A89232_ISSUE_TO_TEST_STEP" CASCADE; TRUNCATE TABLE "AO_A89232_TEST_STEP" CASCADE; TRUNCATE TABLE "AO_A89232_STATUS" CASCADE;
Use the following command to copy the data from QAlity to QAlity Plus:

Install QAlity Plus
Icon change
Since the icon used by QAlity Test was from the QAlity addon that was disabled/uninstalled you will encounter a missing icon. To fix this follow the steps:
Click the cog menu in the upper right corner and select issues.
Search for ‘QAlity Test’ and click Edit on the right side.
Download this icon:
On the new screen click Select image, then click choose an image and select the previously downloaded image.
Click Save.
