Customizing Execution Statuses
In QAlity Plus, you can fully customize Test Execution Statuses to match your organization’s needs. As a Jira administrator, follow these steps to view and manage available statuses:
Navigate to:
Manage Apps → QAlity Plus → Test Case Execution Status Settings
You can modify the name, color, and type of each status and set a default status.
Execution Status Types
Status types help define the meaning of each execution status. QAlity Plus offers four status types:
Passed – Indicates that steps and executions have been successfully completed.
If all test steps in an execution have a status of Passed, the Test Case Execution status will update automatically.
Failed – Indicates that the execution encountered issues or bugs.
Failures are listed in Reports and Previous Execution History.
Finished – Represents steps and executions that have been completed, regardless of outcome.
Unfinished – Indicates that the test execution is not yet completed.
Default Status
You can designate a default status that appears automatically when you create a Test Case Execution or add it to a Test Cycle.
You can have minimum 1 Test Execution Status, and maximum of 11 Test Execution Statuses.
