You can select the background colours of your Execution Statuses from the drop-down:

You can add additional information to an Execution Status by selecting Status type from the drop-down. You can choose from three Status types:

  • Passed - this status is used for setting the Execution Status automatically.

For example, let’s say we have a Status Success, which has a Passed Status type. During the Test Execution, when all Test Steps have a Status Success, the Test Case Execution Status will be automatically changed to Success as well.

  • Failed - this status is for steps or executions containing bugs, and lists them accordingly in the Reports and Execution History.

  • None - no additional parameters are added.

You can click the Mark as default button. The status will be the default status, which is set when you start your execution.

Click on the Add new status button, to create a new status. Name it and click outside the text field. The name of the status must be unique

To delete a status, hover over actions column and click on the bin icon.

When you click on the bin button the application will ask you to choose another status that will replace the one you’re deleting.

It means that all executions and steps with the deleted status will automatically switch to the selected alternative.
