How to manage folder permissions [PLUS]

Permissions to every folder are based on the permissions for the main project that you choose during folder creation.

What it means in practice is that every user who has access to a certain project will also have access to the corresponding folders. For other users, these folders won’t be visible.

As for subfolders, they use the permissions settings of the folder they belong to and there is no possibility to change the main project selection for a particular subfolder. Therefore, visibility of the subfolder will be set based on permissions for the main project selected for the parent folder.

You can learn more about available project permissions in Jira documentation here.
