Good news! QAlity Plus – Test Management for Jira team has just released a new version, and since you use Jira Server you can decide to upgrade at any time! All that is needed is a click of a button in the Apps management screen on your instance!

New Features

Creating bugs directly from test execution page

We’ve added the ability create bugs directly from the test execution page so that you can save time, avoid context switching, and have better visibility into which parts of your system are the most error-prone. If the bug for the given problem already exists, you will be able to link that existing bug to the failed test step.

Easy access test case description in test execution

We’ve added easily the ability access the test case description (Jira issue description of QAlity Test) in test execution so you can use issue description field to put there relevant information needed during the execution of the test case, such as preconditions or requirements to execute the test case.

Bug Fixes

Test steps were not saved when user clicked “Add step” in issue view
We’ve fixed report rendering when there’s no info who executed some test case (before Executed by feature was introduced), and when a user has been removed from Jira
Icon in issue side menu (backlog view) was updated to Plus version
